It was 20 years ago, on September 13th, 1996 that 25 year-old hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur drew his last breathe, six days after he was shot while driving through Las Vegas. His death remains an unsolved mystery to this day, though many speculate it was a result of an ongoing war between East Coast and West Coast gangs. Whatever the reason, with Tupac’s death, hip-hop lost a leading light. In death, though, his legacy has only grown larger. His words have stood the test of time.
