There have been a variety compelling storylines to chew on in the early going of the NHL season; perhaps none bigger than Brandon Saad’s rejuvenation back with the Chicago Blackhawks. In his second tour of duty in the Windy City, the 24-year-old is off to a strong start, with six goals and two assists, including four game winning goals. Meantime, Artemi Panarin is off a solid start with Columbus. Something tells me both organizations will come away from that transaction content.
