The 2015 JUNO Awards are coming up on Sunday, March 15th and to celebrate, SiriusXM, The Verge and Iceberg are pleased to present JUNO Radio, beginning Friday, March 13th and running through JUNO Sunday. And believe us, it’s going to be a great few days of rock.

We get things rolling by reliving the 2014 JUNO KickOff with The Trews, which will air Friday, March 13th at 10 am and pm ET on both channels. Then, throughout JUNO weekend we’ll also be sharing 2015 JUNO Predictions from artists like Whitehorse, Tim Chaisson, Arkells, along with EXCLUSIVE “artist takeovers” from Jason “Human Kebab” Parsons, Lauren Toyota and Peter Dreimanis of July Talk. They’ll be taking over JUNO Radio and giving us some of their 2015 picks. Listeners can also hear classic content from the JUNO vault spanning from across the Awards’ history and live behind-the-scenes coverage of the 2015 JUNO Awards.

On Saturday, March 14th at 8 pm ET, The Verge and Iceberg will broadcast the 2015 SiriusXM JUNO KickOff concert, recorded at Hamilton’s historic Liuna Station with The Sheepdogs, Toky Police Club and Say Yes. If you’re in the area, tickets are still available for the show, which takes place Thursday, March 12th. All proceeds from ticket sales are going toward MusiCounts, Canada’s music education charity associated with CARAS and part of SiriusXM’s ongoing dedication to music charities developed for youth.

SiriusXM Canada will also be the presenting sponsor of this year’s JUNO Gala Dinner & Awards on Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Hamilton, featuring performances from 2015 JUNO nominees Alvvays, Daniel Lanois, Matt Andersen and more. Hosted by Jessi Cruickshank, 35 awards will be given out at the industry event, including Songwriter of the Year sponsored by SiriusXM and the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award, awarded this year to Rush. JUNO Radio will be backstage during the Gala getting all the behind-the-scenes action from winners, presenters and performers.

Finally, be sure to tune in on Sunday, March 15th as JUNO Radio broadcasts LIVE from the JUNO Awards in Hamilton, with reaction from the artists beginning at 7 PM ET.
