Is there any day of the year more divisive than Valentine’s Day. For some, it’s a big one, where they get together with that special someone for a romantic evening. For others, the celebration of love is aggravating and annoying – they just hate it. Luckily, at SiriusXM, whether your love or loathe Valentine’s Day, we’ve got the perfect channels for you.

For the lovers:

So, what channels are you going to have going on February 14th. You could go the easy and obvious route with SiriusXM Love, which features romantic ballads and soft pop songs from the likes of Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, and many others. Believe us, there’s nothing wrong with setting the mood with that channel, and on Valentine’s Day, SiriusXM Love is the perfect place. Starting at 9 am ET and running all day long, the channel will have guest DJs playing and talking about their favourite love songs.

Now, let’s say you’re looking for something a little, shall we say, groovier. That’s when you turn put on Heart & Soul – it’s where you’ll find R & B hits from the ’80s, ’90s through today. You’ll definitely be setting the mood there. Alternately, let’s say you want something a little laid back for your Valentine’s Day soundtrack. Allow us to suggest chilling out with SiriusXM Chill – is a cool, relaxing mix of down-tempo electronica and rock. This may be my go-to this Valentine’s Day.

For the haters:

Ok, maybe hate is a strong word. Less enthused about Valentine’s Day is perhaps more accurate. I’m guessing though, if you’re not into the slow jams or chilled, romantic vibe, you might be looking for something a little more angry or aggressive. Hello Octane! It’s pure, high-powered hard rock that’s loud and in your face. Nothing screams romance less. Unless you also want to put on Liquid Metal, which features the heaviest metal on the planet, from the originators to today’s practitioners. Hard and heavy doesn’t really equal hot and heavy, but you’ll still have great music to crank up. Same with tuning into Shade 45, the uncensored and intense hip-hop channel created by Slim Shady himself, Eminem.

Simply put, there’s always something on SiriusXM for you. Doesn’t matter what you love or what you don’t – you’re sure to find something you and your Valentine’s Day date will agree on.

Don't miss a minute with SiriusXM Streaming, available online and via the SiriusXM App. You can also try it free for 14 days.
