Friday The 13th… in Country

Alan Doyle released his new album, “A Week at the Warehouse” today. Working with producer Bob Rock at ‘The Warehouse’ in Vancouver, Doyle brought together a Canadian-supergroup of musicians including Kendel Carson of Spirit of the West, Cory Tetford from Crush, and Todd Lumley of Hawksley Workman. Alan says the songs are inspired by the fishing town where he grew up (Petty Harbour, Newfoundland), and discovering the rest of Canada touring with Great Big Sea.

Along with his new album comes a memoir, ‘A Newfoundlander in Canada.

George Canyon is back with a new single called ‘More You.’ He says the message behind the song is about, “appreciating the things you have in a relationship and realizing that all you could ever want is more of it!” Canyon’s upcoming album is scheduled for an early 2018 release.

Carly Pearce released her debut album today, titled “Every Little Thing.”

The Kentucky native visited Canada for the first time this past summer, opening for Dean Brody and Tim Hicks, when she told us a little more about writing for this record:
