Unless you’ve been living under a rock (you haven’t, have you?), you’ve probably heard that Stephen Colbert, formally of The Colbert Report, will be taking over the Late Show from the now retired David Letterman. Colbert’s first show as host is Tuesday, September 8th, and to get the world ready for it, the affable “actor” visited The Howard Stern Show this past Tuesday, August 18th.

Now, unless you’ve been livi…wait a minute. As you know, Howard is a fantastic interviewer, and his chat with Colbert was no exception. Nothing was off limits, from the early tragedy is Colbert’s life, to the often hard road to where he is today.
