Who’s In Guns N Roses?

Guns N' Roses Radio

Last Friday night saw the first live show from the “reunited” Guns N Roses. It’s an interesting take on the word, because in many ways this is a brand new iteration of the band. Yes, it’s brought lead singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan back together onstage for the first time since 1993, along with keyboardist Dizzy Reed, who first joined the band in 1991 and has never left. However, this line-up also features drummer Frank Ferrer and guitarist Richard Fortus, both of whom joined the band when Axl was the sole original member left. And then you’ve also got an entirely new member in keyboardist/vocalist Melissa Reese, So while this may be a reunion in some regards, you’ve also got a brand new line-up of the most dangerous band on the planet.

Based on the video footage we’ve seen from Friday night’s show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, this version of Guns N Roses still have the badass, rock n roll swagger of all the previous incarnation. Axl looks to be having a blast on stage, and he certainly isn’t shying away from his former mortal enemy Slash. Maybe money talks, maybe old friends have patched up their differences – whatever the case, there are a lot of people excited to see the band on the road this summer when they tour stadiums across North America.
