Visibility Forecast

Visibility forecasts display areas where visibility is expected to be less than ideal. The forecast is provided in 12, 24, 36-hour increments. Good visibility is considered to be ten miles or better. When the estimated visibility drops below ten miles, a contour line appears, separating areas with different levels of visibility (varies by hardware).

Minimum Data Broadcast Frequency: 60 minutes
