George Harrison may forever be known as the quiet Beatle, but even still, his music spoke volumes, and continues to resonate today, fifteen years after his tragic passing from cancer.

Though often overshadowed by Lennon and McCartney, George was responsible for some of the most beloved songs in the Beatles catalog – Here Comes The Sun, Something, While My Guitar Gentle Weeps.

They don’t get much better than those.

As a solo artist, George’s work was equally as compelling. His double album All Things Must Pass is a thing of beauty, a meditation of peace and love and death.

And then there’s his time as a member of The Travelling Wilburys, a band of pseudo brothers he helped put together, and who helped demonstrate that even Bob Dylan could smile.

The world lost George Harrison on November 29th, 2001, but his music and memory are always present. Here are some of our favourite Harrison songs.
