AMAs 2016: Ariana Grande wins Artist of the Year … and a SiriusXM channel!

The singer won Artist of the Year at the 2016 American Music Awards, and she is taking home more than a statuette — Ariana will get her own SiriusXM channel in 2017.

This artist-branded channel will showcase the her musical catalogue, including biggest hits, music from her favorite performers, bands and more.  Look for this new channel to hit the SiriusXM airwaves in 2017.

Ariana edged out final nominees Justin Bieber, Selena GomezRihanna and Carrie Underwood.

The channel will feature Ariana’s biggest hits along with her favorite singles by other musicians.

And in a moment of SiriusXM synergy, Jenny McCarthy presented Ariana with the final award of the night Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The AMAs, the world’s biggest fan-voted award show, are produced by dick clark productions and seen in more than 200 countries.
