Reporting to the Manager, Customer & Marketing Analytics – Conversion

Accountabilities
Marketing-related activities:
- Conduct pre and post analysis of marketing activities in relation to Conversion
- Estimate list size for Conversion campaigns
- Confirm eligible leads are being selected for their respective campaigns
- Perform in accordance with established procedures related to the implementation, design, and analysis of CRM marketing programs
- Provide analysis services to marketing and customer care including estimation of potential audience size, predefining selection criteria for third-party vendor
- Deliver reporting of ROI, Conversion and take rates
Problem-Solving:
- Ability to break problems down into manageable pieces and identify key drivers
- Understand materiality concerning analysis and be able to focus on the big picture and not be stuck in the small details
- Identify edge cases and determine their impact on production problems, analysis, and reporting
Reports and recommendations:
- Enable effective evaluation of performance and decision-making
- Identify performance gaps and trends; as well as make recommendations
- Assist in preparing forecasts related to Conversion
- Prepare reports and presentations as required
- Ensure continuous improvement of reporting process in terms of accuracy, efficiency, and overall effectiveness in driving better business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and IT, to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Managing and analyzing data:
- Extract, transform, and load data from various sources, databases, and marketing platforms
- Create profiles of segments including demographics and subscriber behaviour
- Perform assessments and identify segments to target for programs
- Track performance related to key metrics by segment
- Implement and use tools for managing and analyzing data
- Design tables, processes, and schedules to manage the increasing amount of data
- Execute A/B tests to determine the revenue impact of marketing campaigns and activities
- Analyze variances; identify trends and risks related to the Conversion
- Support CRM team in managing and tracking Conversion performance against budget
- Prepare ad hoc reports and intelligence to cross-functional teams as required
- Identify voids in data and proactively find alternatives or solutions
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Level of Education
- Completion of college program in Business Administration, Statistics, Math, Engineering, or a related discipline and deep business insight is required
Job-related Experience
- 2+ years’ experience performing data analysis in the financial or automobile industry
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in SQL and Microsoft Excel along with a focus on Marketing Analytics
- History of campaign execution, A/B test analysis and program post-mortem analysis
- Experience using Python is an asset.
- Experience in subscription-based industry is a definite asset
Skills & Background
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendation
- Be able to develop, modify and improve SQL-based Stored Procedures
- Have a high degree of comfort with rapidly changing ambiguous contexts and an ability to help chart a clear path forward in these contexts
- Be entrepreneurial and have an eagerness to generate new approaches, spot opportunities, and initiate action
- Bring a “can-do” attitude, with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset

- This position is frequently called upon to reach agreement with others to complete work activities; requires presenting a point of view at times and influencing others to adopt a specific course of action
