Forget Valentine’s Day, basketball fans will be feeling the love this week thanks to SiriusXM’s wall-to-wall coverage of NBA All-Star Weekend on NBA Radio (XM Ch. 86 / Sirius 207). Starting on Thursday, February 13th, listeners can get their heads in the game with commentary, exclusive interviews with the NBA’s biggest stars, and much more live from Chicago. And with the recent deaths of NBA great Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, plus the decision to honour them with special uniforms and memorial patches during the weekend’s events, there’s sure to be no shortage of meaningful moments. Thursday, February 13th
As things in Chicago start to heat up, NBA Radio will be coming at you live from the Media Circuit with interviews featuring both legendary players and up-and-comers in the league, including participants across the Rising Stars, Skills Challenge, Slam Dunk, and 3-Point Contest events. Frank Isola and Sarah Kustok will host coverage from 1 pm to 4 pm ET, while Justin Termine and Eddie Johnson are hosting from 4 pm to 8 pm ET.
Friday, February 14th
Isola and Kustok will kick things off with more live All-Star coverage from 10 am to 1 pm ET, followed by Termine and Johnson taking over from 1 pm to 4 pm ET. Given that it’s Valentine’s Day, NBA Radio will show a little extra love to the best interviews of the first two days in Chicago at 4 pm ET before airing a replay of Termine and Johnson’s show at 6 pm ET. Close the night out with the Rising Stars game simulcast on both NBA Radio and ESPN Radio (Ch. 80).
Saturday, February 15th
As NBA Media Day gets started, fans can hear live shows all day, including Isola and Amin Elhassan from 10am to 12pm ET and Justin Termine and Eddie Johnson from 12 pm to 2 pm ET. The All-Star Saturday night festivities — the Skills Challenge, 3-Point Contest, Slam Dunk Contest, and more — will air across both NBA Radio and ESPN Radio starting at 8pm ET and culminating in a live post-game show.
Sunday, February 16
The day we’ve all been waiting for will start off live from the Legends Brunch with Isola and Elhassan from 11 am to 2 pm ET. Don’t miss legendary on-air moments with basketball greats, including Magic Johnson, Dwayne Wade, Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, Cappie Pondexter, Candace Parker, and Jerry Colangelo.
