SiriusXM and PGA TOUR pro Colt Knost are driving even more golf coverage and commentary as Knost expands his role on SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio (Ch. 208). Starting Monday, January 13, Knost’s show, Gravy and the Sleeze, which he co-hosts with Drew Stoltz, will expand its weekly schedule from one to three days during most weeks. When there is no tournament play-by-play on SiriusXM, the show will air all five weekdays.
“Being a part of the SiriusXM team has been more fun than I could ever imagine! I’m so excited to be on the air with Drew and all of our listeners more often, and we’re looking forward to continuing to provide a fun and entertaining perspective to the game of golf!” Knost said.
Gravy and the Sleeze airs live from 1 pm to 3 pm ET on the SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio channel, featuring Knost — dubbed “Big Gravy” by fellow pro Steve Elkington — who made his debut as a SiriusXM host last April. The show title is a nod to both hosts’ respective nicknames.
“Colt and I are extremely excited to expand our role with SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio,” said Stoltz. “Based on our relationships in the golf industry, we hope to provide unique content that is entertaining to all who follow golf, all while having some laughs along the way.”
During a standout collegiate career at Southern Methodist University, Knost earned all-conference and all-region honours, going on to win three USGA events in 2007 — the U.S. Amateur, the U.S. Amateur Public Links, and the Walker Cup (as a member of the U.S. team). Prior to turning professional, he was the No. 1 ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. In 2008, Knost won two tournaments on the Korn Ferry Tour and finished sixth on the Money List to earn his PGA TOUR card. Since the start of his PGA TOUR career, he has earned nine top-10 and 24 top-25 finishes.
Stoltz played collegiate golf at Texas Christian University, won the 2004 Colorado State Amateur, and would go on to play on the Korn Ferry Tour and other professional mini-tours.
