Hunter Brothers

Hunter Brothers live at Trench Recordings.

Hunter Brothers Celebrate Their First #1

Fresh-off a huge tour with Paul Brandt, High Valley & Jess Moskaluke, Hunter Brothers are celebrating their first #1 with ‘Lost.’ Also worth a mention, their album State of Mind has also been the #1 Canadian album on the Canadian Country Album Chart for a month now.  Wondering how they’ve been celebrating? Well…as prairie boys from Saskatchewan would.

Terri Clark To Be Next Master in Residence at National Music Centre in Calgary

There’s no place like home.  Nashville-based, Medicine Hat-born Terri Clark was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame last year, and it’s now time for a plaque at the National Music Centre in Calgary.  May 14th, she’ll take up residency to offer songwriting mentorship to three emerging Canadian country artists in Western Canada.  The artists are Tracy Bone from the Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation in southwestern Manitoba, Vancouver singer-songwriter Shylo Sharity, and Mariya Stokes of Calgary. Although a lot of the magic will happen in private songwriting sessions, Terri Clark will host a public Songwriters’ Circle to conclude the mentorship on May 15th and you’ll see many other country artists in the spotlight leading up to the Canadian Country Music Awards in Calgary for fall 2019.

The Abrams Release ‘Sounds Good To Me’

Kingston’s brotherly music duo The Abrams are back with a new song titled ‘Sounds Good To Me.’  The track was produced by Matt Rovey (of Zac Brown Band & Alan Jackson fame) and they just premiered a brand new video to go along with it that has the perfect setting to celebrate Record Store Day this weekend!
