This week, The Verge wants to get your ears on these great new tracks.

Ellis – Something Blue

Hamilton’s Linnea Siggelkow moved from a solo project into a 4 piece band with Ellis releasing the debut EP “Fuzz” last year. Linnea says that ‘Something Blue” is about those moments in our lives that we wish we could have a do-over. The track has hints of the Sixpence None The Richer 1997 Billboard-topping, Grammy nominated song. “Kiss Me”.

Reignwolf – Black And Red

From his debut album – ‘Hear Me Out’ Reignwolf a.k.a. Jordan Cook is from Saskatchewan where he was raised on blues rock and rock music. Black and Red will get your blood pumping and is a mix of JAPANDROIDS, Black Keys and Royal Blood

Skye Wallace – Coal In Your Window

It’s the second week for Toronto songstress Skye Wallace on the watch list. Will she move into the full rotation this week on The Verge? You let us know.

Valley – There’s Still A Light In The House

A single for Valley’s ‘MAYBE – Side B EP’ is in the works for this month, and the two EPs may find their way into a full album at some point. The band says that Side A is for driving and Side B will be more for sleeping.
