August 25th marks the 67th birthday of legendary KISS bassist Gene Simmons. While he definitely has the habit of saying some outrageous things, the fact is, this Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is also an outstanding musician. He’s come up with stellar bass lines for KISS, and he’s written or co-written some of their most enduring songs.
