Looking back at Keep The Faith from Bon Jovi

Keep The Faith

24 years ago this week, Bon Jovi went to the top of the UK album charts with their fifth studio album, Keep The Faith. Amazingly, this weekend the news came out that the band has hit the number one spot on the Billboard 200 with their thirteenth studio album, This House Is Not For Sale.

Few bands manage to have such an incredible run of popularity, and Keep The Faith doing so well back in 1992 was certainly a big deal for the band. Times were changing, and the band’s brand of 80’s hair metal was quickly losing popularity. Luckily, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and the rest of the band had already chosen to expand their sound and approach for Keep The Faith. The songs were just a little bit harder and just a little bit deeper – the title track in particular was a call to action and lyrically stronger than previous material.

As Bon Jovi Radio continues to air on SiriusXM Channel 18, complete with live and rare tracks, interviews, and everything from the band’s back catalogue, here are a few of the stand out tracks from Keep The Faith for your Monday viewing pleasure:
