We’re heading into the NHL playoffs, so lets look at the big games coming up this week, including Toronto at Boston and Philadelphia at Pittsburgh.

Wednesday, April 11th – Minnesota Wild at Winnipeg Jets
7:00 PM Eastern – Sirius XM 91

The 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs get going tonight on three fronts, including this Central Division showdown.  These two teams were pretty much locked in for this first round matchup for the past few months, and tonight in the Manitoba capital, the Jets and Wild open up their best-of-seven playoff series.  The Jets finished second in the tough Central Division, 13 points up on third place Minnesota.  During the regular season, Winnipeg took three of four games from the Wild.

Thursday, April 12th – Toronto Maple Leafs at Boston Bruins
7:00 PM Eastern – Sirius XM 91

Have a coin? Then flip it.  Winner moves on.  That’s how close this series is expected to be.  Two Original Six rivals who are two of the better teams in the Eastern Conference.  During the regular season, the Maple Leafs prevailed 3 games to 1, but a lot has changed since then.  Both teams can score, though most believe the Bruins’ backend is superior.

Friday, April 13th – Philadelphia Flyers at Pittsburgh Penguins
7:00 pm Eastern – Sirius XM 91

Game Two of this Pennsylvania heavyweight matchup goes this evening in Pittsburgh.  This is the first time these two old foes have clashed in the playoffs since 2012, and that spring the Flyers prevailed in six.  This time around, only two points separated these two teams in the regular season standings.  This series features four of the league’s top point producers, so you might want to stock up on Flyers and Penguins in your playoff pool.  Pittsburgh dominated the regular season series between these two clubs.
