Here are some key games for SiriusXM NHL Network Radio fans this week across the league, including Colorado at Chicago, Boston at Tampa Bay, and Nashville at Pittsburgh.

Saturday, March 23rd – Minnesota Wild at Carolina Hurricanes
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM Internet 925
As the 2018-19 NHL regular season winds out, there’s still tons of things to be decided. First-and-foremost, playoff spots (and post-season positioning) are still up for grabs in both Conferences. Including the Wild and Hurricanes, two teams looking to lock down those spring tournament invites. Think of this game tonight as a playoff game, as the stakes are high.

Sunday, March 24th – Colorado Avalanche at Chicago Blackhawks
8:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 219
After letting go of head coach Joel Quenneville, not much was expected of the Blackhawks this season. Yet here they are, going down to the wire, fighting for a playoff spot. The Avalanche are also in that position, battling for a Western Conference playoff spot. Consider this one tonight a potential “play-in” game.

Monday, March 25th – Boston Bruins at Tampa Bay Lightning
7:30 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91
Last time these two Atlantic Division rivals met up, the Bruins emerged with a 4-1 win, one of the few times the league leading Lightning haven’t secured a W this season. Tampa Bay were the first team this season to clinch a playoff spot, and they continue to pile up the points. Boston is pretty much set to face Toronto in the first round of the playoffs, with the B’s holding home ice advantage. So is this game this evening a preview of the Atlantic Division Final?

Tuesday, March 26th – New York Islanders at Columbus Blue Jackets
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91
After leading the fractious Metropolitan Division for most of the season, the Islanders may not finish with the Met crown, but home ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs can still be had. Tonight they visit a Blue Jackets team that is in the midst of a slugfest for one of the wildcard slots in the Eastern Conference. A recent 4-1 loss to the Oilers was not what Columbus was banking on as they battle with Montreal, and Carolina for the right to keep playing once the regular season ends.

Wednesday, March 27th – Dallas Stars at Calgary Flames
9:30 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 167
The Flames appear to have outrun the San Jose Sharks for first place in the Pacific Division. And as the leading team in the Western Conference, they’ll face the second wild card team. That could be the Dallas Stars, so this could serve as a preview.

Thursday, March 28th – Montreal Canadiens at Columbus Blue Jackets
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91
Every so often, the idea of a play-in game is discussed. Well, tonight’s tilt between the Jackets and the visiting Canadiens pretty much is exactly that…depending on where each respective team stands when they drop the puck tonight. Montreal edged Columbus 3-2 when they last met up, back on February 19th.

Friday, March 29th – Nashville Predators at Pittsburgh Penguins
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91
They met up in the 2017 Stanley Cup Final, with the Penguins taking the Cup in six games. This season, both teams could finish second in their respective divisions, which would mean home ice advantage for the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
