Here are some key games for SiriusXM NHL Network Radio fans this week across the league, including Winnipeg at Arizona, Buffalo at Toronto, and Vancouver at Colorado.

Saturday, February 23rd – Boston Bruins at St. Louis Blues
4:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

The way these two teams are currently playing, it’s not that far-fetched to imagine them meeting up in the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since Bobby Orr flew through the air back in 1970.  While much as been made of the Blues, and rightfully so, the Bruins have quietly also put together an impressive string of games.

Sunday, February 24th – Winnipeg Jets at Arizona Coyotes
9:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 218

It’s fitting that former Coyotes’ forward Shane Doan will have his number 19 retired before this game, as Doan began his NHL career with the first edition of the Jets, before they took off and landed in the desert.  The “new” Jets have stumbled as of lately, though they’re still in the race for first in the Central Division.  The Nashville Predators are also in that race, and suddenly so are the red hot St. Louis Blues.

Monday, February 25th – Buffalo Sabres at Toronto Maple Leafs
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

Always a good game when these two teams meet up.  With only about one hundred miles between the two cities, the respective fan bases travel well.  Toronto can print playoff tickets now, and they’ll most likely face the Boston Bruins (again) in the first round.  Which team grabs home ice advantage is yet to be determined.  The Sabres have struggled since their 10-game winning streak, and will have to play better hockey in order to grab one of the final Eastern Conference wildcard spots.

Tuesday, February 26th – Dallas Stars at Vegas Golden Knights
10:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

That was the surging St. Louis Blues that flew up the Stars in the past few weeks.  And with the Predators and Jets seemingly set in either first or second place in the Central Division, which means the Dallas Stars are going to have to nail down one of the two Western wildcard invites.  They recently put an end to the Blues 11-game winning streak, with was a huge two points for the Stars.  The Golden Knights appear to be set in third place in the Pacific Division, which would mean a first round matchup with either the Flames or Sharks.

Wednesday, February 27th – Vancouver Canucks at Colorado Avalanche
9:30 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

A big two points up for grabs this evening in Denver, as both of these teams are in the massive traffic jam that is the Wildcard hunt in the Western Conference.  Last time these two clubs met up in early February, the Canucks emerged with a commanding 5-1 win.

Thursday, February 28th – Toronto Maple Leafs at New York Islanders
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

John Tavares.  It’s all about the former Islander, as he returns to his old stomping ground for the first time since signing with his hometown Maple Leafs during the off-season.  Islanders’ fans have made it clear they won’t be welcoming their former captain back with open arms.  As for the game, both teams will be in the playoffs when they begin in April, but where they finish in their respective divisions is yet to be determined.

Friday, March 1st – Philadelphia Flyers at New Jersey Devils
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

Carter Hart is the future, and the now, in the crease for the Flyers.  He’s been chased in two recent games, but that happens even to the best of them.  While it’s doubtful the Flyers will make the playoffs this season, they’ll be a better team come September.  Can the same be said for the Devils, who will also miss the post-season cut this time around?
