Here are some key games for SiriusXM NHL Network Radio fans this week across the league, including Toronto at Montreal, Washington at Columbus, and Boston at Anaheim.

Saturday, February 9th – Toronto Maple Leafs at Montreal Canadiens
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

Always worth a look when these two storied rivals meet up, particularly on a Saturday night.  The Maple Leafs are doing what was expected before the season began, while the Canadiens have overachieved.  That has these two clubs on a collision course that could lead to a first round playoff matchup.  The Leafs and Habs haven’t met in the post-season since 1979, and Toronto hasn’t won a playoff game against Montreal since winning the Stanley Cup in 1967.

Sunday, February 10th – Winnipeg Jets at Buffalo Sabres
3:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 218

With just over 25 games left for each team to play in the regular season, the Jets are looking to stay ahead of the Predators for first place in the tough Central Division.  The Sabres are fighting for their playoff lives over in the Eastern Conference, and they have their eye on one of the two Eastern wildcard slots.

Monday, February 11th – San Jose Sharks at Vancouver Canucks
10:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

Are the San Jose Sharks one of the “sleeper” teams this season?  They’ve compiled an impressive record in the Pacific Division, in the running with the red hot Flames for first place in the division.  While the Canucks aren’t in that race, the fact that they’re still alive in the playoff hunt midway through February speaks of how far the team has progressed this season.

Tuesday, February 12th – Washington Capitals at Columbus Blue Jackets
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

These two Metropolitan Division rivals are in the thick of the battle for seeding in the grouping.  With two months remaining in the regular season, either team could end up in top spot, or occupy an Eastern Conference wildcard…or miss the playoff altogether.  When they last met up on ice back in January, the Blue Jackets emerged with a 2-1 overtime win.

Wednesday, February 13th – Edmonton Oilers at Pittsburgh Penguins
8:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

Everybody has on opinion on how to fix the Edmonton Oilers.  The fact is, they’re still in the playoff race in the Western Conference, even though at times it seems more like a turtle race.  The same cannot be said for the Penguins, who are fighting for a more favourable first round playoff position in the tough Metropolitan Division.

Thursday, February 14th – New York Islanders at Columbus Blue Jackets
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

Leading that Metropolitan Division for the past while, the New York Islanders no longer will take any teams by surprise.  This is a well-coached team, which has every player buying in, hence the success the Islanders have enjoyed this season.  With the Capitals, Penguins, and Blue Jackets close behind, nipping at their heels, can the Islanders hold on to the division for the next two months?

Friday, February 15th – Boston Bruins at Anaheim Ducks
10:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

A Tale of Two Teams.  With The Lightning running away with the Atlantic Division, the Bruins have their eye on second spot, and home ice advantage in the first round of the post-season.  The Ducks are still officially involved in the slow motion battle for the two Western Conference wildcard spots, but they have been in a tailspin for a number of weeks now.
