Some key games for SiriusXM NHL Network Radio fans this week across the league include Edmonton at Los Angeles, Boston at Toronto, and Vegas at Vancouver.

Saturday, November 24th – Washington Capitals at New York Rangers
2:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

Matinee hockey features the defending Stanley Cup champions on Broadway to tussle with the surprising Rangers.  The teams in the Metropolitan Division are tightly packed, so two points in late November are vitally important.

Sunday, November 25th – Edmonton Oilers at Los Angeles Kings
10:30 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

Whenever you see these two teams on the marquee, you might think of Wayne Gretzky, who spend the majority of his Hockey Hall of Fame careers with both franchises.  These days, both clubs are struggling, to the point that both head coaches have already been replaced.  The Pacific Division is not the powerhouse it used to be, which means there’s still time for both the Oilers and Kings to climb back into the playoff race.

Monday, November 26th – Boston Bruins at Toronto Maple Leafs
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

Two of the top teams in the Atlantic Division clash in Toronto this evening, a possible preview of yet another playoff matchup between these two Original Six squads.  As good as the Maple Leafs have been this season, their home record is not a stellar as their away record.  Boston’s been good at home or on the road.

Tuesday, November 27th – San Jose Sharks at Buffalo Sabres
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

Of all the teams that have punched above their weight so far this 2018-19 NHL season, the resurgent Buffalo Sabres arguably lead the way.  And one can also make a strong case that the Sabres are becoming hockey heavyweights once again, after a long wait.  Tonight they face a Sharks team that, so far, has been one of the more consistent clubs in the Pacific Division, though people keep waiting for All-World defenceman Erik Karlsson to look like the Erik Karlsson during his years with the Ottawa Senators.

Wednesday, November 28th – Dallas Stars at Calgary Flames
9:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 167

Many observers believe the Flames would be running away with the Pacific Division with they could get steadier goaltending.  Speaking of the man in the crease, the Stars have lost starter Ben Bishop to injury, as they fight to stay afloat in the tough Central Division.

Thursday, November 29th – Vegas Golden Knights at Vancouver Canucks
10:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

Second time around, the shine is slightly off the Vegas Golden Knights, who shocked the sporting world last season by getting all the way to the Stanley Cup Final during their inaugural season.  The Knights are still in the fight for a Western Conference playoff spot, and tonight face the suddenly struggling Canucks.

Friday, November 30th – New Jersey Devils at Washington Capitals
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

What to make of the New Jersey Devils?  They started off strongly this season, then took a few steps back, before some recent wins.  Tonight will be tough, as they visit D.C. to battle with the Washington Capitals, who are looking to defend their Stanley Cup title.
