Some key games for SiriusXM NHL Network Radio fans this week across the league include San Jose at New Jersey, LA at Toronto, and Edmonton at Winnipeg.

Saturday, October 13th – St. Louis Blues at Chicago Blackhawks
8:30 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 221

A busy Saturday in the NHL, with 28 teams in action, including the Blues and the Blackhawks, one of the better rivalries in all of hockey.  Chicago are off to a hot start, while there remain concerns about the Blues’ goaltending.  This one goes in Chicago at 7:30 pm Central, on SiriusXM 221.

Sunday, October 14th – San Jose Sharks at New Jersey Devils
1:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

Afternoon hockey from the Garden State, as the Devils host the Sharks at 1 pm Eastern, on Sirius XM 91.  With the addition of all-world defenceman Erik Karlsson, San Jose are many people’s favorite to represent the West in the 2019 Stanley Cup Final.  New Jersey grabbed an Eastern wildcard spot last season, and are looking to build on that.

Monday, October 15th – Los Angeles Kings at Toronto Maple Leafs
7:30 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

They’ve been scoring goals by bunches, but the Maple Leafs would like to tighten up the defense. They host the L.A. Kings tonight at 7:30 Eastern/4:30 Pacific on SiriusXM 91. Sniper Ilya Kovalchuk has returned from the KHL, and has picked up where he left off, putting points up for the Kings.

Tuesday, October 16th – Edmonton Oilers at Winnipeg Jets
8:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 167

This matchup brings up memories of the 1980’s and firewagon hockey between these two clubs.  These days, the Jets are among the favorites to make it all the way to the Stanley Cup Final, while the Oilers are looking to rebound from last season.  This one goes in the Manitoba capital at 7 Central, 8 Eastern, on SiriusXM Channel 167.

Wednesday, October 17th – New York Rangers at Washington Capitals
7:00 PM Eastern – SiriusXM 91

Two Metropolitan clubs go at it this evening in the nation’s capital, as the Caps welcome in the Rangers at 7 Eastern on SiriusXM 91.  Washington are the defending Stanley Cup champions, while the Broadway Blueshirts will be in a season long dogfight to grab an Eastern Conference playoff spot.

Thursday, October 18th – Pittsburgh Penguins at Toronto Maple Leafs
7:00 PM Eastern – Sirius XM 91

This matchup would make for an enticing Eastern Conference Final, but there’s a lot of games to play before that.  Both clubs would like to tighten up team defence, though both teams can seemingly score at will.  This one goes in Toronto at 7 Eastern, on SiriusXM 91.

Friday, October 19th – Florida Panthers at Washington Capitals
7:00 PM Eastern – Sirius XM 91

Last season, everything went right for the Capitals, who won their first Stanley Cup in team history.  The Panthers missed the playoff cut by one point, and many observers have them penciled in for an Eastern Conference playoff spot this time around, though starting goaltender Roberto Luongo is lost to the club for a number of weeks due to injury.  Catch this one on SiriusXM 91 beginning at 7 pm Eastern.
