We’ve all sat through Fantasy Sports Drafts, and while they can be fun, here at Under Review on NHL Network Radio, we believe in the bigger picture.

Hence the First Ever Under Review NHL Team Draft.

On Tuesday, October 9th, we opened the phones and asked one of the listeners to choose the team they believe will end up with the most 2018-19 regular season points. They went with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Peter Berce followed with his pick (San Jose), then Mick Kern chose the Penguins. We followed that pattern until 30 of the 31 current NHL teams were selected.

The eventual winner will be the squad that compiles the most combined regular season points.  We’ll figure out a waiver wire process, and a trade deadline. Every Monday, we’ll check in to see who’s in the lead, and who’s in the basement.

Here, for public record, are the three squads for the Under Review NHL Team Draft.  The one NHL team not drafted?  The New York Rangers.
