Rush is a rock institution. With more than 40 million records sold worldwide, an induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, countless sold-out tours, and a legion of devoted fans, the past 40 years have been good to these Toronto boys. And if the band’s R40 Tour is any indication, things don’t seem to be slowing down either. Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart are as formidable as ever — with their music and their fans at the forefront of it all.
Following an extensive 35-date North American tour, Rush will release R40 Live – filmed over two sold-out shows at the Air Canada Centre in the band’s hometown of Toronto on June 17 and 19.
Their epic set spans Rush’s entire catalogue, including a first-ever live rendition of Losing It featuring Ben Mink (who appeared on its original 1982 recording) as well as a star-studded rendition of Roll The Bones featuring cameos from Paul Rudd, Jason Segel and Peter Dinklage.
We’re excited to exclusively premiere another fan favorite — and a nod to our own industry — The Spirit of Radio.
