ICYMI: Kira Isabella’s SIDE B

Kira Isabella released the first five songs off her new EP KIRA with ‘SIDE A’ back in fall of 2018.  She’s released the second half of the EP ‘SIDE B’ now too, explaining that the first batch of songs may be a little more fierce and bold in nature, while the second half is more inspiration and vulnerability.

I’m so in love with her current single ‘Danger Danger’ which you’ll hear live from Trench Recordings in Toronto very soon. You’re in for a treat, we’ve got Kira Live @ SiriusXM for a session next month to talk about her new outlook on music and the new EP!

The Heels Release Ex-Rated

Bobbi Smith, Brittni Dominelli & Kyla Rawlins are an all-female Canadian country trio out of Vancouver, known as The Heels. Their new album, ‘Love Heels’ builds on inspiration from The Dixie Chicks and Little Big Town with the sweetest harmonies BUT, a little bit of sass, too.  The Heels say ‘Love Heels’ is about empowerment and it all started in a coffee shop.  They just released their new single ‘Ex-Rated’ which they recently performed at Trench Recordings:

Top of the Country 2019!

The BEST part of my job is watching talented musicians write better songs and play better stages across the country!  SiriusXM’s nation-wide talent search for Canada’s next big country act is ON. We’ve got $25,000 for the winner along with incredible mentorship, songwriting & performance experiences.

Please pass this along to your honky-tonkin’ friends that are chipping away at a career in country music.  Thinking about submitting your music but not sure what to expect? Re-visit our 2018 competition HERE.
