River Town Saints & Chris Labelle Part Ways

In a heartbreaking Facebook post this week, River Town Saints announced they were parting ways with their singer, Chris Labelle. You can read the band’s announcement on their facebook page.

Chris Labelle was one of the first guys to chime in on the post and his love for the other members of the band:

“Don’t even know where to start with this post? I’ve been thinking about it for a while and finally came to the decision that my time with the River Town Saints has come to an end … It’s been a fun ride and I got to play the biggest stages in Canada with 4 friends of mine and that’s something I’ll never forget … Something in my heart told me I need to do my own thing and I have so many lyrics to sing about on a personal level!!! THE BAND WILL CONTINUE WITH A NEW SINGER for all the fans out there and I wish them all the success in the world … It’s scary because I’m all alone now 🙁 Actually that’s not true I have the best wife in the world and she’s behind me 100 percent and believes in the music I’m making …A huge thank you to Canadian Country Radio and the fans for supporting me… I really can’t wait to share all the new stuff I’ve been working on but it will take some time to puzzle it all together …friends family and fans I love you guys so much … these boys will keep rocking.”

We wish Chris & RTS all the best and thank them for all the great music they gave us during their time together!

Andrew Hyatt Shares “My Kind of Crazy”

So, what is our Sirius XM “Top Of The Country” winner up to? Andrew Hyatt is back with a new single from CAIN which he released last week. Cool cover art, eh?

Catch Andrew on the road with Dean Brody on the “Dirt Road Stories” tour, AND with Tim Hicks and the “Get Loud” tour through November.

Nice Horse Release “Six String Outlaw (The Sundown Remix)”

Six String Outlaw is a song about, “two outlaw renegades who finally meet their match.” Have you seen Tara McLEod play guitar with them yet this year? The KITTIE guitarist is amazing, and reminds us with the sweet solo you’ll hear in this song.
