Madeline Merlo’s New Single “Unraveling”

Finally! Madeline Merlo’s brand new single is here titled ‘Unraveling,’ which she claims as one of her most vulnerable co-writes yet.

“It shows the weakness and honesty of heartbreak and is inspired by the music I was raised on. Artists like Dolly Parton and Etta James encouraged me to write from a place of truth, even when it feels vulnerable. I’m excited to show my fans this more soulful side of me. Unraveling is about a relationship that kind of slips through your fingers and leaves you confused, without closure, and wondering if it’s too late to get back what you lost.”

I caught up with Madeline on the phone today and here’s what she had to say about her new tune:

Hunter Brothers Announce New Album “State of Mind”

Our favourite brothers from Saskatchewan have announced their sophomore album! The Hunter Brothers will release State of Mind on the first night of ‘The Journey Tour 2019’ with Paul Brandt, Jess Moskaluke & High Valley, on ‘The Journey Tour’ which kicks off on January 25th in Abbotsford, B.C.

You’ve already heard the first single ‘Lost’ on SiriusXM CH. 171, but have you seen the video?

Tracks like ‘Silver Lining,’ ‘Want,’ and ‘Northern Lights’ will have you seeing life through their optimism and gratitude.  ‘Next Year’ might remind you to live in the moment a little more.  ‘Train’ is catchy as hell and ‘I Still Fall’ is a ballad and I’ll warn you now, your eyes may just water up when you have a listen.

The youngest of the brothers, Ty Hunter, says:

“Life takes us down many different roads, and through various seasons. The last two years, time has been spent between travelling the nation, performing on a multitude of stages, driving up and down dusty fields, and changing dirty diapers…It’s meant a lot of shifting gears, and along with that, the highs, lows, and many changes in our State Of Mind. This album is a compilation of stories that reflects those shifts in thinking, and we can’t wait for listeners to come along for the ride.”

Grab the album on January 25th and find them on the road with Paul Brandt & co. here:
