The Lovelocks Announce New EP
The Lovelocks have been teasing us for months. Since the release of ‘Staycaytion’ we’ve been wondering when we can hear more music from the Toronto duo! “20 Dollars In My Pocket” will officially come out July 13th! Stay tuned for a new song next week, too!
“We are very excited to be launching ‘20 Dollars In My Pocket’ and to show a different side of our band with this album…Last year was the toughest we’ve experienced as artists; struggling under the pressures of the industry, and enduring what can only be described as creative burnout. We decided to use the last year to experiment with different sounds, styles and song ideas and the resulting EP has brought us through the fire, emerging from the ashes. Although it was a difficult journey, we are so thankful to have gone through this important creative process to get to where we are today. We are infinitely proud of this album; it showcases a fuller version of who we are as artists, and we hope you experience as much joy listening to it as we did creating it!”
