New This Week in Canadian Country

Speaking of Canadian Music Week & SiriusXM House… one of our performers just announced a fun new project.

Lindsay Ell says it began as a sort-of homework assignment assigned to her by producer Kristian Bush (Sugarland) before recording her debut albu. “Recording Continuum was the thing that started it all. Kristian taught me some of the most valuable lessons as my producer from this ‘homework’ assignment. He gave me three rules: I needed to play all the instruments myself, I needed to record it alone in my studio, and I had two weeks. Through it all, I remembered all the things I first loved about making music. I can’t wait for my fans to hear the music that helped shaped ‘Criminal’ and The Project!”

Last week ended with a touching tribute concert dedicated to the families and community touched by the Humboldt Broncos tragedy. Gord Bamford, Hunter Brothers, Brett Kissel, Chad Brownlee, Jess Moskaluke & Dallas Smith sold out SaskTel Place and filled everyone’s hearts.

Check out Ryan Sims, a guy to keep your eyes on! He just released his song ‘Getaway’ to radio off the EP ‘My Side of the Story’
