JESSE MAC CORMACK – STAY

Montreal’s Jesse Mac Cormack releases the new single “Stay” from his debut album, Now. Jesse says the inspiration for the song is about the fire, the passion that beautiful thing that doesn’t last. These are the moments that mark us forever. Afterwards, life catches up to us. We fall back in the patterns that have been holding us back. It’s tempting to constantly move on to another dream, as soon as the flame goes out. Check out the amazing visuals created for the song below.

MARSHALL FT. JOCELYN ALICE – MR PARACHUTE

Ryan Marshall from Burlington, On’s very own award-winning band Walk Off The Earth is getting ready to release his solo album, Layers, in June. Marshall, who collaborates with singer-songwriter Jocelyn Alice on the track, says lyrically he was investigating everything from toxic relationships of the past to present day insecurities. Sonically, he says “the melodies have a hooky, pop-style melody, but I pulled away from that a bit by giving them this dark, future-based style beat”. Let us know what you think of “Mr Parachute”.

THE HONEST HEART COLLECTIVE – NORTH AMERICAN DREAM

Keep your eyes and ears on Thunder Bay, ON. rock ‘n’ roll band The Honest Heart Collective. Their sophomore album Grief Rights is out now.
