SXM’s Doctor Radio & NYU Langone Health Launch 24/7 Public Service Channel & Phone Line for Coronavirus Info

SiriusXM, in conjunction with NYU Langone Health, will launch a special 24/7 channel dedicated to providing the public with the latest information on the coronavirus outbreak.  The channel will launch today, March 6 at 6:00 pm ET and will feature programming from SiriusXM’s Doctor Radio. It will be available on both active and inactive SiriusXM radios (channel 121) and will also be available on the SiriusXM app and via SiriusXM.ca.

SiriusXM and NYU Langone Health have teamed up to make coronavirus information available to subscribers and non-subscribers alike and this special “free to air” public service channel will feature nonstop information and health tips related to coronavirus.

Listeners can tune-in to channel 121 at any time for continuous programming highlights from Doctor Radio’s ongoing coronavirus coverage. Presented by NYU Langone’s team of world-class infectious disease and medical authorities, SiriusXM’s Doctor Radio is on the cutting edge of educating and informing the public on the very latest about the coronavirus and what you need to know right now.

SiriusXM and NYU Langone Health are also creating a 24/7 coronavirus information hotline which will provide expert answers to questions about the emerging health threat. Callers who dial 877-40COVID (877-402-6843) will hear direct responses to the most commonly asked questions about coronavirus from NYU Langone Health’s experts on the front lines of the coronavirus response teams. Callers will also have an opportunity to record questions about additional coronavirus concerns, and selected questions will be chosen to be answered directly by experts on Doctor Radio’s new weekly broadcast, Coronavirus: What You Need To Know Now, and on other regularly scheduled programming featured on Doctor Radio.

Daily podcasts are being posted on podcast platforms bringing you the latest content and coronavirus health tips from NYU Langone Health.  These can also be found On Demand through SiriusXM’s app and streaming platform.
