Dan Mangan Hits the Jimmy Kimmel Live Stage

Known as one of coolest and sweetest musicians in Vancouver, it was such a treat to see JUNO Award winner Dan Mangan take the stage on American TV recently. Dan performed two songs from his album More or Less, and in the video for “Troubled Mind” you can see him enjoying every moment. The song is about the struggle to maintain some sense of mental balance day to day as we are bombarded with the woes of the world. It was great to see him take center stage and share the message of this song with the world.

Wintersleep LIVE @ THE VERGE

East coast award winning indie rockers Wintersleep stopped by SiriusXM Canada to perform songs from their 7th album In The Land Of.  Loel Campbell from the band says their latest single “Never Let You Go” was an older track that they revisited for this project and was always meant to make the album. “There’s such a positive spirit to this song it makes you want to get out your chairs and cut a rug,” says Loel.

Metric + July Talk Canadian Tour

On this run of Canadian tour dates with Metric, July Talk wanted to do something special with their fans and in the communities of each show. They announced they would be going record shopping in each city of the tour. The band made their first stop in Victoria, BC at Ditch Records, making new friends and picking up some sweet vinyl. Follow along on the bands twitter to see which record store they will stop by next @julytalk. The band will also be collecting food bank donations at these locations and will have ticket giveaways to the shows each night.
