NEW MUSIC OUT THIS WEEK
Kingston, Ontario award-winning rockers The Glorious Sons have just released a new song called “Pink Motel.” The band have been ripping through the summer music festival scene in North America, with recent stops at the Ottawa Bluesfest, Festival d’été de Québec and the upcoming Osheaga Music and Arts festival in Montreal next month. The band describes “Pink Motel” as one big feeling but it’s more than just a rock ballad. It’s a song that showcases the band’s continued willingness to be vulnerable and tell the hard truths.
2019 POLARIS MUSIC PRIZE
The Top 10 Canadian albums of 2019 have been determined and in a few months we’ll find out who takes home $50,000. Past winners include Arcade Fire, Feist, and Jeremy Dutcher. Your top 10 this year includes Shad’s album A Short Story About A War, PUP’s Morbid Stuff and Jessie Reyez’s Being Human In Public. Let us know your favourite albums and who you think will win.
