Kelly Clarkson has a new album out called Piece By Piece, and it “makes an old queen cry.”

Seriously. That’s how beautiful her latest album is, according to The Morning Jolt‘s Larry Flick.

“Oh, I love that. What a great slogan,” the Original American Idol joked.

Clarkson’s music has been making us all cry since 2002, when A Moment Like This became her debut single. Kelly Clarkson told Flick she’s got a case of the feels herself (and it’s definitely not Justin Guarini-related nostalgia).

Here are five things we learned from Clarkson’s interview on The Jolt:

1. She’s is a bit of a speed demon

“A cop will stop me for speeding or something, and every once in awhile they’ll be like, ‘Oh, because you think you’re famous you can just speed and get out of blah blah blah.’ And I’m like, ‘No, I felt like this way before I was famous. This is like since I started driving,’” Clarkson joked. “It’s not like I’m trying to do it. I listen to music and the pedal gets pushed harder. I’ve never caused an accident – just so everyone knows!”

2. Yet another reason women like Kelly rule: We can create life

“Like, you can never create a vagina, but I can create a penis,” the new mom said. “Y’all have NOTHING on that.”

3. Her favorite hit to sing at concerts is Walk Away

“Man, I always love singing Walk Away,” Clarkson said. “It’s a very sassy song.”

4. “Everyone talented is from Long Island”

Yup, she said it.

5. She couldn’t be happier

“It sounds like such a stupid movie, but there’s an undeniable feeling that happens when you meet a perfect partner…I feel like I won the lottery with love,” Clarkson said of her husband Brandon Blackstock. “I just feel so lucky. Nothing could be better.”
