AC/DC is hitting the road for their Rock or Bust World Tour, and they’ve announced their North American dates. Luckily for us Canadians, there are a few stops in the Great White North and the band will be playing some large places.
Sitting in the drummer’s chair will be Chris Slade, who first recorded with the band on 1990’s The Razor’s Edge. Slade was on the accompanying tour, but left the band when original drummer Phil Rudd rejoined in 1994. As you’re likely aware, Rudd has had some ‘challenges’ the last few months, including multiple criminal charges in New Zealand. He also didn’t make recording of Rock or Bust easy on his bandmates, showing up ten days late for sessions in Vancouver.
Chris Slade made his return to AC/DC this past Sunday night at the Grammy Awards, where the band opened the show with the title track to Rock or Bust, and followed it up with ‘Highway To Hell’.
