Are SiriusXM Traffic services included with my trial subscription?

Many new vehicles come with a trial subscription to one or more SiriusXM Traffic services from SiriusXM. Find out what services are available in my car. You can also register and log into your SiriusXM account to learn more about any additional services included with your trial subscription.


I love having the trial in my car. How can I listen in other places, too?

Your All Access trial subscription includes streaming online, streaming on the SiriusXM app as well as streaming on a wide variety of smart TVs, home audio systems and media players, so you can enjoy your favourite programming both in and out of your car. To get started, first set up your streaming username and password. Then download the app to your smartphone, tablet or listen on your computer.


How will I know when my trial subscription is ending?

The length of your trial subscription depends on the vehicle you’ve purchased or leased. There are several ways to find out:

  • Check the paperwork that came with your vehicle
  • Register and login to your SiriusXM account
  • Look out for the Welcome Kit we’ve sent you, which includes information about your trial and when it will end.

If we have your correct contact information on file, we will also send you notices when the end of your trial is getting close. Log into your SiriusXM account and confirm your contact information.


Does my trial subscription automatically renew?

No. Your trial subscription is just a trial — it’s yours to enjoy for the duration. Of course, we hope you’ll love it so much you sign up to keep enjoying all our great programming. But again, there are no strings attached. If you have not yet purchased a subscription package for after your trial ends, your SiriusXM service will automatically stop at the end of your trial period.


If I want to go ahead and subscribe now, will I lose what’s left of my trial subscription?

No. Subscribe now — or at any time during your trial — and you will still enjoy every bit of your trial time. You will NOT be charged for the package you choose until your trial is over.

How do I add my new vehicle to my existing SiriusXM account, or how can I transfer a paid subscription from my old vehicle to my new one?

You can add your new car to your account, remove any old radios you no longer have and transfer unused service from your old car to your new one. (Certain restrictions apply). Our online service is available 24/7 and is easy to use. And you won’t lose any of your trial subscription when you transfer your service. How do I send a refresh signal to my radio?

If your trial subscription is not yet active, or if you’re not receiving all the channels you should be getting, your radio may need a refresh signal. You can have one sent in just a few moments! Have your Radio ID or VIN handy, then send a refresh signal.


How do I get a trial subscription for my used vehicle?

What’s a Radio ID and where can I find it?

Each satellite radio has its very own ID number, referred to as a Radio ID. (You may also see it referred to as an ESN number or SID.)

You’ll need your Radio ID number to register and log into your account, check the details of your trial subscription, activate a trial (if not already active), refresh your radio and more. We recommend you write it down and keep it handy for reference.


You can easily locate your Radio ID in one of the following ways:
  • For most radios, the Radio ID will display when you tune to Channel 0.
  • If that doesn’t happen, use the “Menu” function of your radio to locate it.
  • Your Radio ID is also printed on the letter included with the Welcome Kit we’ve sent you.
