Hear the NHL Games of the Week during the final days of regular season action

Edmonton
VANCOUVER, CANADA - OCTOBER 11: Sam Lafferty #28 of the Vancouver Canucks faces off against Connor McDavid #97 of the Edmonton Oilers during the second period of their NHL game at Rogers Arena on October 11, 2023 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

As the end of the NHL 2023-2024 regular season draws to a close, there are still some big games to be heard on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio.

Saturday, April 13th – 10 pm Eastern – SiriusXM 91
Vancouver Canucks at Edmonton Oilers

The final Saturday of the 2023-24 NHL regular season sees the surging Oilers host the Canucks. For almost the entire campaign, Vancouver has been atop the Pacific Division, though Edmonton recovered from a poor start to make the race close. This could be a preview of a second-round playoff matchup.

Sunday, April 14th – 3:30 pm Eastern – SiriusXM 91
Colorado Avalanche at Vegas Golden Knights

Sunday afternoon hockey from The Strip features two teams that have already punched their respective tickets to the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The question remains: which teams will they face in that opening round? Tonight’s game could go a long way to determining playoff matchups.

Monday, April 15th – 7 pm Eastern – SiriusXM 91
New York Islanders at New Jersey Devils

It’s been a disappointing season for the Devils, who started off well back in October, fresh off a promising 112-point finish last year. This time around, key injuries, key departures, not to mention unsteady goaltending, sunk any realistic post-season hopes this spring…unless there’s a very late call from the Governor. The Islanders grabbed the first NHL Eastern Conference wildcard last April and have been in a real dogfight this time around for either third place in the NHL Metropolitan Division or the final Eastern wildcard invite.

Tuesday, April 16th – 7 pm Eastern – SiriusXM 91
Washington Capitals at Philadelphia Flyers

It’s been a good year for the young Flyers because we defy you to find anybody who honestly believed Philly would make the Stanley Cup Playoffs this spring. Yet there they were, stubbornly holding on to third place in the NHL Metropolitan Division for most of the season. Until recently. They’ve gone cold and have now fallen back to the braying pack of teams nipping at their skate heels. Even if Philadelphia doesn’t make the post-season cut, it’s a notable step forward in the overall development of a franchise who are still looking to build for the future. The Capitals? Well, future Hall-of-Famer Alex Ovechkin rediscovered his goal-scoring touch just at the right time, and his Caps have catapulted themselves back into the frenzy of the Eastern Conference wild wildcard race.

Wednesday, April 17th – 7 pm Eastern – SiriusXM 91
Toronto Maple Leafs at Tampa Bay Lightning

Last April, the Maple Leafs disposed of the Lightning in six games in the opening round of the playoffs.  This time around, these two teams could meet up in the second round. Tampa came close to catching Toronto for third place in the NHL Atlantic Division but has been fated for the first Eastern wildcard spot seemingly for weeks.

Thursday, April 18th – 7 pm Eastern – SiriusXM 91
Seattle Kraken at Minnesota Wild

Last season, the Minnesota Wild finished third in the Central Division with 103 points. In only their second season, the Seattle Kraken earned 100 points and claimed the first Western Conference wildcard spot. This time around, neither team is going to the post-season dance. The Kraken and Wild are well off their pace from last year. The Kraken/Wild game tonight is one of six around the league this evening, on this final night of the 2023-24 NHL regular season.

Friday, April 19th – NO GAMES TONIGHT
