AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - JULY 7: Steve Jordan of the Rolling Stones performs live on stage during a concert of The Rolling Stones at the Johan Cruijff Arena on July 7, 2022 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Steve Jordan is one of the most accomplished drummers in rock history, having been behind the kit for legends like John Mayer, Keith Richards and the X-Pensive Winos, John Mellencamp and our own Kelly Clarkson. He was also in the house bands for both Late Night with David Letterman and Saturday Night Live in the 1970s and ’80s.

So impressive was Jordan on the drums that the Rolling Stones’ late drummer Charlie Watts chose him to fill his seat backing up the World’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band, which he’s been sitting in 2021. Later this year, the Stones will hit the road in support of their most recent studio album, Hackney Diamonds, which debuted at #1 in 20 countries and features Steve Jordan throughout.

Steve Jordan can also include SiriusXM guest to his impressive resume with Been There, Done That. You’ll hear Jordan discuss his role in big projects over the years, from Buddy Guy and BB King to the new Rolling Stones album and tour.
