Vampire Weekend cover Grateful Dead’s ‘Peggy-O’ during a SiriusXMU Session

Vampire Weekend is taking over SiriusXMU (ch. 35) with Vampire Weekend Radio – and the GRAMMY Award-winning band performed a rendition of the Grateful Dead’s “Peggy-O” during a special “SiriusXMU Sessions.” They were joined by Amber Coffman on backing vocals and Ray Suen on violin. Watch them perform “Peggy-O” on the SiriusXM app here and listen to their full “SiriusXMU Sessions” on the SiriusXM app.

“SiriusXMU Sessions” is a chance to hear stripped-down performances and conversations with groundbreaking indie bands. During Vampire Weekend’s return to the show, they also performed “Capricorn” and “Classical” from their new album, “Only God Was Above Us,” as well as “This Life” from 2019’s “Father of the Bride.”

Vampire Weekend Radio is taking over SiriusXMU through April 8 and will be available on the SiriusXM app through May 7.
