Sway Calloway is a pivotal part of the MTV News team and icon of hip-hop culture. From giving Eminem and Tupac their first airplay on his local show in the mid 90s to providing TV viewers a first look at today’s hottest celebrities, he has been a staple of the music-news arena for more than a decade.

Gray Rizzy found his calling growing up in hip-hop’s birthplace, the South Bronx. Always one to link the right people together, and being a natural conversationalist with access to notable contacts, Rizzy is in his element hosting events—so it’s easy to see how the stage was set for on-air radio.
Known for his engaging and hold-no-punch interview style, Rizzy has sat down with the music industry’s top heavyweights, such as Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, De La Soul, DJ Khaled, and RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan. He’s also been at the forefront in supporting and breaking its new stars, including Fetty Wap, Schoolboy Q, Tory Lanez, Young M.A, Nick Grant, Young Dolph, Lil Uzi Vert, A$AP Ferg, Oswin Benjamin, and more.
In addition to covering overnights on Shade 45, Gray Rizzy spins hip-hop hits in the afternoons on Hip-Hop Nation, getting you familiar with trends driving the culture, featuring in-depth interviews, and updating YOU on what’s moving the needle.
Also appears on Hip-Hop Nation

Jude Angelini (aka Rude Jude), a loud-mouth a**hole, made a name for himself on the white trash circus The Jenny Jones Show. In 2001, Angelini left Detroit for Hollywood, ending up broke, washing dishes and eating rice and ketchup. Eminem saved him with a job on Shade 45. Thanks for nothing, Em.
