Tune in starting today (September 7) as we honour the legacy and influence of Michael “Mike D” Diamond, Adam “ADROCK” Horovitz, and the late Adam “MCA” Yauch with their classics, deep cuts, rarities, and live recordings. Listen on Channel 105 through September 14 at 3 am ET and on the SiriusXM App through September 21 at 3 am ET.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers share exclusive commentary, stories, and insight dating from their 10X-platinum debut, Licensed to Ill, through multi-platinum albums Paul’s Boutique, Check Your Head, Ill Communication, Hello Nasty, To the 5 Boroughs, and Hot Sauce Committee Part Two.
Additionally, the channel will feature a Guest DJ series, Pass the Mic, which includes a slew of artists, celebrities, and athletes – including Eric Andre, Rosie Perez, Chuck D, David Cross, and Cypress Hill – taking over hosting duties.
News of the Beastie Boys Channel comes as the Beastie Boys are set to unveil this Saturday (September 9) “Beastie Boys Square” at the southwest corner of Ludlow and Rivington on the Lower East Side in New York City. The site used to be home to Paul’s Boutique, the influence for the title and album art of the group’s groundbreaking 1989 album of the same name.
