Disco’s not dead — in fact, it’s stayin’ alive during this special throwback takeover in celebration of the Saturday Night Fever era.
Starting this Friday, January 22nd at 5 pm on Studio 54 Radio (Ch. 54), boogie all weekend long in honour of the kings of classic dance and disco, the Bee Gees.
In conjunction with the recent release of Barry Gibb’s latest album, Greenfields, and HBO’s documentary about his legendary group, The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend A Broken Heart, the weekend-long special will focus on the Bee Gees’ indelible impact on the genre and the music that turned a contemporary rock band into nightlife superstars.
During the Best of the Bee Gees Weekend, hear the quintessential sounds of the era with specially picked songs from the band’s catalogue once an hour, every hour until 10 pm ET on Sunday, January 24th.
