We want to be startin’ somethin’! In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s iconic Thriller album, The Michael Jackson Channel will return to SiriusXM for a limited time on November 23 — providing the perfect soundtrack for rocking the night away.

What You’ll Hear

The Michael Jackson Channel will commemorate The King of Pop’s legendary career, from his early days in The Jackson 5 to his solo career. The special channel — which includes a can’t-miss Thriller special — will air on Limited Edition 2 (Ch. 502) from November 23 through December 22 and on The Groove (Ch. 50) from November 23 until November 29.

Michael’s Thriller is the biggest-selling album of all time worldwide. SiriusXM’s exclusive special about the album, THRILLER: A CLOSER LOOK, is hosted by music historian (and Jackson family close friend) Steven Ivory. Ivory discusses the making of the iconic album, as well as Michael’s relationship with Quincy Jones and Thriller’s impact on popular culture. The special will air on Saturday, November 26th at 6 pm, Sunday, November 27th at 12 pm, and Tuesday, November 29th at 9 pm (all times ET). It will be available on the SXM App after its premiere.

Additionally, The Michael Jackson Channel also features commentary from artists who admire Thriller, including Christina Aguilera, Donny Osmond, Brandy, Nikki Giovanni, Toto, and more.
