In honour of Jazz Appreciation Month and in advance of the upcoming biography of the same name, Real Jazz presents the four-part series The Ballad of Tommy LiPuma. This legend was arguably the most successful producer in jazz history. Renowned musician, broadcaster and author Ben Sidran highlights in music what his upcoming biography does in prose, celebrates the man who made stars out of Diana Krall, Al, Jarreau, George Benson, David Sanborn and a virtual who’s who in modern jazz. The book will be released in May but hear the music Tommy LiPuma made this month on Real Jazz.
