Grateful Dead Channel (Ch. 23) celebrates the life and legacy of Jerry Garcia during “The Days Between,” August 1–9, marking the time between Jerry’s birth and his passing.
With the end of Rush following the conclusion of the band’s R40 tour, Geddy Lee had some time on his hands. He filled it quickly, though, when he began writing his first book, Geddy Lee’s Big Beautiful Book of Bass. The gorgeous hardcover features basses in Geddy’s massive collection, along with interviews with some notable rock bassists, including U2’s Adam Clayton and John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin.
While on the promotional tour for the book, Geddy stopped by SiriusXM’s 80s on 8 to share some of his favourite rockin’ bass songs from the ’80s.
