The Blue Jays take their drive to capture a wildcard spot to the Royals of Kansas City and the wilds of West Sacramento.
SiriusXM will offer listeners nationwide a live broadcast of The 153rd Open this July 17-20 at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland.
SiriusXM will air 45 hours of live on-course coverage of golf’s original championship across all four rounds of play on The Open Radio channel, which is available to listeners in their cars on channel 92 and on the SiriusXM app. Championship broadcasts will begin on SiriusXM on Thursday and Friday at 2 am ET, and on Saturday and Sunday at 4 am ET, and will continue through the conclusion of each day’s play.
Listeners will hear The Open Radio broadcast, produced by The R&A, which will feature Marcus Buckland, Sue Thearle, Robert Lee, Dave Farrar, Matt Adams, Sophie Walker, Raymond Burns, Amy Boulden, Paul Eales, and Harry Ewing, as well as SiriusXM’s Brendon de Jonge and Carl Paulson and talkSPORT 2’s Rupert Bell. Immediately after each round, SiriusXM will present a live post-round show, hosted by Chantel McCabe, Jason Sobel and Taylor Zarzour, which will recap the day’s play and look ahead at the next day’s action.

Notable SiriusXM programming during Open Championship Week includes shows hosted by current and former players with extensive major championship experience.
Lucas Glover, who has competed in 11 Open Championships and will be in the field at Royal Portrush, will host his exclusive SiriusXM program, “The Lucas Glover Show,” on Tuesday at 8 pm ET.
“ANNIKA,” hosted by legendary 10-time major championship winner Annika Sorenstam, airs Wednesday at 8 pm ET.
“The Rocco Hour,” hosted by Rocco Mediate, who competed in nine Open Championships, airs tonight and Tuesday at 7 pm ET.
SiriusXM’s broadcast rights for The Open come through its agreement with the R&A and NBCUniversal, which owns the rights to The Open broadcasts in the U.S.
