The Rolling Stones’ new album lands Friday, July 10, the same day Classic Vinyl (Ch. 26) begins The Rolling Stones Foreign Tongues Weekend, through Sunday, July 12.

Throughout the weekend, hear an exclusive conversation between Mick Jagger and SiriusXM host Meg Griffin, along with comments on the new album from Mick, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood. You’ll hear tracks from the album alongside classic Rolling Stones favourites, plus legendary artists from outside the United States as Classic Vinyl embraces the album’s international theme.

For your eyes, there are clips from Mick’s conversation with Meg Griffin below. The legendary frontman reflects on honouring Charlie Watts and performing with Charlie’s hand-picked replacement, Steve Jordan. He also discusses Paul McCartney’s bass playing, The Beatles‘ prolific songwriting, and more.

Due out Friday, July 10, Foreign Tongues is the Rolling Stones’ 25th studio album. The record is produced by Andrew Watt and features guest appearances from Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, Robert Smith, and Chad Smith, as well as a special track recorded with late drummer Charlie Watts before his passing.
