Every Saturday night, CARRIE’S COUNTRY is your home for hard rock!
Carrie Underwood LOVES to perform and listen to heavy metal. In fact, the eight-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist plays and discusses her favourite headbangers during her exclusive series “Hard Rock Block” every Saturday night on her SiriusXM channel, CARRIE’S COUNTRY (Ch. 60), on car radios and the SiriusXM app. Listeners of SiriusXM’s Octane, Liquid Metal, Ozzy’s Boneyard, Hair Nation, and other rock channels will love Carrie’s “Hard Rock Block,” featuring songs by bands like Guns N’ Roses (whom she’s performed with), Papa Roach (whom she’s collaborated with), Black Sabbath, Slipknot, Korn, Heart, Shinedown, Motörhead, and more.
Tune in to the show every Saturday at 10 pm ET/7 pm PT.
Watch Carrie reflect on rocking out with one of her music idols – Axl Rose – at Stagecoach Festival and gush over Guns N’ Roses above. Plus, check out her epic rendition of the late Ozzy Osbourne’s “Mama, I’m Coming Home” on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show” below.
“I’ve gotten to sing with them, but I would love to record something with Guns N’ Roses,” Carrie tells SiriusXM host Cody Alan in the video.
“I very much remember being a teenager, kind of discovering my own musical tastes, and my mom being very much against me listening to Ozzy,” Carrie explains to Howard Stern before performing the power ballad. “I feel like you need to listen to some of these lyrics, because it’s not all darkness … there’s a lot of like love songs and things that are a lot more melodic and sweet.”
On Carrie Underwood’s exclusive SiriusXM channel, CARRIE’S COUNTRY, hear new and classic country, workout hits, gospel, and beyond. Plus, high-octane favourites from classic to hard rock for your morning exercise or your late-night jam sessions. Featuring drop-ins from Carrie’s crew, friends, and fans — and Carrie herself!
