What You’ll Hear
SiriusXM is exclusively producing the national radio broadcasts for every Team USA game and 15 World Baseball Classic games in total, including every game from Pool B, as well as the quarterfinal games in Houston, both semifinals, and the championship game. SiriusXM’s broadcast team features veteran broadcaster Mike Ferrin as the play-by-play voice with former major leaguer Ryan Spilborghs as the analyst. SiriusXM listeners also have access to the Fox Sports broadcasts of all World Baseball Classic games.
Throughout the tournament, tune in to SiriusXM’s 24/7 baseball channel, MLB Network Radio™, for World Baseball Classic news, talk, and analysis. Ferrin and Spilborghs host a one-hour preview special featuring interviews with several Team USA members at 5pm ET on Wednesday, March 4.
Tournament Format
This year’s round-robin-style World Baseball Classic features four pools of five teams each, with the top two teams from each pool moving on to the quarterfinals in Houston and Miami. The semifinals and championship will also be held in Miami.
